It's kinda dumb and earnest, yeah, but I don't mind that. It has a goofy purity. And I enjoy it as a piece of music.

Oh, I don't deny it's completely lacking in dynamics. The music has a similar charm to the delivery of the lyrics: big, dumb, kinda silly, but totally heart-on-sleeve and endearing.
