I can't say that I hate reggae in and of itself. There is some reggae that I listen to from time to time and some songs that I really love. But it's not a genre I know a ton about, nor a genre I reach for often.

Major influences Talking Heads, Velvet Underground, and Bowie I'm guessing? There's something pretentious about looking so normal and being in a band.

African desert blues, like Tinariwen and the like, sound like a great idea to me, and I kinda want to like what I listen to, but inevitably end up boring me with "sameness".

I agree. About 4-5 tracks is enough. Saw Tinariwen live at the Roundhouse in London. I think we hit the bar pretty hard that night. Mrs LMS was a mess.

Probably more tech support related but I'm so glad I finally figured out how to edit cards in Android. I was getting tired of Father John Misty stories showing up just because I searched youtube once. Every time the card came up I only got the option to never see stories from the website again, not stories about him. Yay, little victories.
