I feel like a middle schooler again just staring at the clock, wanting school to be over so I can go home to play video games.

Re: The all inclusive video game thread
You know, not even two weeks ago I was looking at the Toon Link / Zelda combo and thought, I don't know what I can do with this stuff and put it back.
I like how they use the old Amiibo for things like this so that you can use them even years later but I hate how they use the old Amiibo because then you have an after-market like this. They can't just reprint the damn things?!?

Those random gusts of dust. Are those Korokus? If so, How do you make them appear?

There's are a couple hundred hidden Korokus. They are spawned in different ways. Under rocks, bow and arrow challenges next to pin wheels, magnetic rock puzzles, yellow flowers, drums, offering plates, lily pads.. I'm wondering if the dust gusts are a different type of challenge.Monkey_Driven wrote:You are way further than me. I just got the paraglider.CopperTom wrote:Those random gusts of dust. I've decided to wait to play Zelda until I've finished (or mostly finished) Horizon. Horizon is really, really good.

This might be especially smart in light of the broken Blood Moon system (minor spoilers):Monkey_Driven wrote:Cool cool.CopperTom wrote:There's are a couple hundred hidden Korokus. It works, for now. The only thing that's really crummy is that the joysticks function more like a d-pad: it's extremely difficult to apply just a little bit of pressure, so any game that would require precise aiming is going to be rough. I'm mostly playing baseball now, so it's only slightly annoying, but I'll probably have to save my pennies and buy the real mccoy as soon as I can.Monkey_Driven wrote:I look forward to your full report.Simple Torture wrote:I'll report back on how fucking awful the one I just bought is.Monkey_Driven wrote:I've never messed around with third party controllers. For some reason I picture Sean Connery as their spokesperson.Simple Torture wrote:It works, for now. I haven't played a fighting game in...I literally can't remember when. Maybe Tekken 3 at a party about 15 years ago. Are fighting games good any more?
What I wouldn't give for a new Fight Night.
