Oh, I'm not. I adore John Goodman (and at the risk of sounding like a name-dropping asshole, he's actually a friend of mine, and he'd agree with me).

John Goodman would be wrong.

You're both delusional. It shouldn't surprise me at this point. But here we are.

It's "delusional" to think Brie Larson, a newcomer who hasn't done much yet, isn't a better actor than living-legend John Goodman? Are you insane?

No, you're' right. Because 100 movies/tv shows is automatically superior to a dozen. :shake:

It's about quality, not quantity. And frankly, this is a stupid conversation. There's more than enough room for both of them. They can both exists and have careers and star in the same movies. Regardless of whether one is a Man who has been around for several decades and one is a WOMAN who is fairly new on the scene. Who gives a shit? Both are great. Both have a lot to offer. Both work really hard and deserve attention. We can celebrate both of these artists and look forward to their respective work.

He's a really sweet guy that doesn't understand why people make such a fuss about him. Pearl Jam has never come up in our conversations, but I'll ask him for you next time I see him.

I propose a new word filter that automatically replaces every instance of the words "John Goodman" for "Durdencommatyler's Personal Friend John Goodman"

That's dumb. And totally contrary to everything that makes John, John.

In the interest of full disclosure, I have MET John Goodman. I have spoken with John Goodman. I have worked with John Goodman. But calling him a "friend" was hyperbole. Also, I was actually pretty drunk last night when I was posting about John and Brie.
