I'm not sure how many versions they've done with Neil, but that would be a good place to start. Some of my personal favorites:
Milan 2000
Kansas City 2000
Houston II 2000
Boise 2000
London, Ontario 2005
Ottawa 2005
Toronto 2006
Newcastle 2006
Memphis 2014

I'm not the "bootleg" connoisseur that many of you are. But I've always been a big fan of whatever version is on Live On Two Legs. That was my first experience with that cover and still probably my personal favorite.

Also, though, the one they did in Dallas a couple of years ago with Carrie Brownstein and Annie Clark. :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat:

Finsbury Park 1992 was the first version I ever heard and its still my favorite. I still remember how exciting it was taping it off the radio and being scared to death the tape would run out before the concert was over.

Same here :)
Dublin actually had a few bootleg shops at the time. They were a wonder to discover back then cos you could get tapes of shows from all over the place. Then as soon as I discovered them, they started selling those Kiss The Stone bootleg cds :) mostly radio broadcast shows but a lot of tape transfers. But I didn't care. You're 18 or whatever and you'd go hungry just to have that new Pj show :)

This is all before the internet of course.

Really, one's as good as the next -- I've always found PJ's take on this song slightly underwhelming, the way they relegate Neil's main chorus melody to harmony status really deprives it of its necessary reach. Gimme a good "Fuckin' Up" any day of the week.

Despite my earlier RITFW recommendations, I wholeheartedly second this.

The definitive Fuckin' Up will always be...

One of the few tracks that actually sound better when they play it faster.

it's pretty easy to find the definitive version of RitFW since they've only played it a handful of times

Unless they play it with Uncle Neil I pretty much never want to hear RITFW again.

I heard the they were going to play it at the Hall of Fame, but have a bunch of female artists on stage with them and change the lyrics to "Rockin with the Free Girls"

I have no doubt we will get the all time definitive RITFW at the rock n roll hall of fame ceremony.

Complete with all five drummers.
