Filoni just seems to love Maul. Maybe even more than he loves Ahsoka. It's nuts.wease wrote:I hope not. But, yeah, I do love the idea of Vader taking him out. Still rather see Kenobi do it. But, Vader would be cool too. Kenobi deserves it after what he did to Satine.

Thered be a weird poetry to Vader taking maul out. Doing something his former master couldn't do. On naboo and if Obi Wan let's him go again.

Re: Star Wars: Rebels
Well sure. But his "former master" "couldn't do it" because of Dave Filoni. That's not really relevant. And stupid. Lucas clearly intended Obi-Wan to kill Maul. History should record such. Let the record show that Ob-Wan did the deed.dimejinky99 wrote:durdencommatyler wrote:But, yeah, I do love the idea of Vader taking him out. Still rather see Kenobi do it. Re: Star Wars: Rebels
Weak episode. Literally filler but it's to be expected. They should really cut back on the amount of episodes per season.
Anyway, it will be lame as hell if Maul lives after this confrontation and just hangs around during season 4. If Maul lives somehow he better end up being Snoke to make it worthwhile.
Maybe he gets a huge scar across his face and other injuries. Not that I think he will but he does fit the Snoke profile as someone who has survived on the fringes through all of the war and chaos and is neither a Sith or a Jedi.
There are so many interesting things they can cover next season. Like recruiting the Mon Calamari people and their ships into the rebellion and getting their hands on the X-wing blue prints.
More Maul in his current state just isn't that interesting to me now.
