Porch may well be my second favorite pearl jam song right now. Even Flow is great, and hugely underappreciated, but Porch it ain't.

Porch and Black are the only Ten songs that haven't aged well. Even Flow, no contest.

I can't help but think that Porch sounds a little Spin Doctors-y these days.

Re: Porch vs. Even Flow vs. Master/Slave
I was so tempted to vote for Master/Slave. I just have barely any interest left for Even Flow and Porch. I voted Even Flow because it's the best song of the three even if I don't care if I never hear it again.

Re: Porch vs. Even Flow vs. Master/Slave
Both Porch and EF have dropped for me. The shitty intro to Porch pisses me off so much. Both were great up to the mid 90s.
I'll throw Master Slave a bone as it is really something. I remember blissfully spacing out to it when I was a stoned teenager. The band need to explore this sonic territory some more.

Re: Porch vs. Even Flow vs. Master/Slave
Porch is wonderful. Even Flow is one of the greatest Rock and Roll songs of all time. I'll never understand why so many Pearl Jam fans hate it so much. If Porch wins, and I expect that it will, I won't be upset about it. I like Porch a lot. But Even Flow is on a totally different level.Birds in Hell wrote:Even Flow for me, though Porch isn't bad.
