I was the same. But I'm now in a place where CW both adds to but is irrelevant to the prequels. When they hit? They hit big. But there's a lot of misses that just don't make any purchase in furthering the story of the prequels.

They do not at any point make the prequels worse though.
aw huh

i havent tried to rewatch the prequels, but i assume clone wars will make me feel even worse about them since they did things so much better. Does listening to In My Tree make you enjoy Comatose more?
Comatose is better than IMT tho

It's one of the absolute best fights in the whole series. I tried to tell TVG about it. But he didn't care even though he claims to love Palpatine so goddamn much.
Even though the emporer says he isn't going to kill maul and he has a use for him, we don't see him again in TCW, right?
I believe that's correct, yes. The show was supposed to run for 7 seasons. He had an arc planned for what would have been S6 but it was never finished. So they told that story in the graphic novel: Darth Maul - Son of Dathomir (which is one of the few pre-2014 Disney buy-out comics that's still canon).

There was also a lot more planned for Ahsoka that never got told. I imagine some of that is probably in her book, but I haven't read it yet.
Thanks, I need to check that story out to see how he escaped the emporer

I tried to get a copy on Amazon but it's out of print. So it was like $300. So I passed. Then I was gonna read about it Wookiepedia. But I decided to hold off until his story is done on Rebels.

I think you have to sign up for it? But it's not that crazy money. I saw it on twitter the other day. Have a root around.

I just read the synapsis of those on Wookipedia. Jesus that would have made a brilliant arc in the Clone Wars series

Forgot how much season 6 was totally ripping off the design in legend of Zelda twilight princess

Awful lot of the character design and art looks exactly the same.

I hope they just relaunch this series. Let netflix produce them, and finish out the story arcs.
