In Hiding was once (UPON A TIME) in my personal top 5. Now it's merely top 20 or thereabouts. An incredible song, but not quite as incredible as the lovely, the talented, the beautiful...

Low Light.

Low Light. I've never been a huge fan of the other two. Both are fine, and better than a lot of the newer material, but Low Light beats them both by quite a bit.

If Low Light beats In Hiding, it better win the whole thing.

Voted In Hiding mostly because of Single Video Theory. I could have easily voted for Low Light, most years I probably would have. Pilate is a cool little song too.

Pilate is mediocre, but the other two are wonderful songs. In Hiding has always been a personal favourite - it still feels like a bit of a secret, since it rarely comes up in "best of" discussions, and I like that it's tucked away like that.

They'll both eventually make their Last Exit.

This year, the thing I'm most interested in seeing is how far In My Tree will make it. Second to that, how far will Hail, Hail go?

I'm not feeling In My Tree this year. It feels like Last Exit's year.

Oh, In My Tree will absolutely NOT win. That's a foregone conclusion. RM won't have it. I'm just curious to see how far it WILL go.

Didn't Last Exit win last year? Or the year before?

Nope - otherwise it'd be in the Prior Champions bracket. In fact, it's NEVER won.

Yeah, they'll blow their collective nut on something like Sleight of Hand.

No lie: I'd take Sleight of Hand over Las Exit, actually.

Op. Duh. That was a stupid post. Did it get close last year or the year before? Was it in the final match? I feel like I remember it getting really close.

Last year Brain of J knocked it out in round 4. The year before it lost out to Do The Evolution in the final.

Ah. There we go. Cool. Thank you for all you do.

Still crazy to me that Do The Evolution has won this thing and In My Tree hasn't.

IMT won in 2010. That one didn't take place in March, but it was that year's big elimination tournament.

It wasn't a March Madness, so it doesn't count. I don't want to go through all of this again, Norman. It nearly ripped the board apart before!
