I know, with this getting close I'm really glad I talked myself into getting a ticket and making the trip. Listening to vault release is causing me to feel more excited about seeing them than I have in a couple years.
where did you get your ticket late in the game?
Ticketmaster. Behind the stage on Mike's side, second row. Not great but I'm okay with it.
Maybe I'm overly optimistic but I'm thinking this will be more of a hardcore fan's show whereas Wrigley's going to be more of a festival/casual radio fan set with a bone or two thrown in for the rabid.
the behind the stage options came up, but there must not have been more than a couple. i was on right away and got nothing. thanks for the alert though.
Seems they're in Ontario rehearsing at the venue. These were played.

I saw at least 5 people in PJ shirts between the time I got into the city center (oopps... it's Canada so "centre") and the time I got checked in at the Hilton. Not as bad as Missoula last year, but there is a presence.
Someone I know who lives in London, his girlfriend, a massage therapist, was called/hired to go to Ed's hotel and give him a massage. She said he was really nice, tipped her more than generously, but then felt bad that it wasn't enough and then wrote her a note granting her and 1 other person entry to the show. He also gave her the tour managers phone number in case there were any problems getting in. And then gave her a bunch of his guitar picks.

That is very generous. Must have been a good massage.
