I agree. I said it in an earlier spoiler, but the fact that he now has met Obi-wan and his main Sith counterpart is dead, just seems as though he is going to grow leaps and bounds. Would be a shame to waste it after one upcoming season.

I think he needs to die. An up and coming new jedi, hope for the alliance, then just like that, Vader or someone kills him. It would be tragic, and make Luke even more important.

I don't think they would kill him off and it doesn't fit for him to be doing Jedi stuff with the rebellion when Luke shows up.

Something happens that pushes him out of the picture. Maybe it's the death of kanan, maybe he decides he's had enough, maybe he starts a family and retreats into the fringes of the galaxy. Maybe he ends up joining Luke's Jedi Academy after Return of the Jedi.

More than a tad, especially as it relates to the ethical dilemma of the Clones.

That sounds right up my alley. I think I'll have to download the first seasons of both and give them a go.

I would highly recommend watching The Clone Wars animated film before starting the series. It provides good context but most importantly it introduces you to the greatest character in Star Wars history: Ahsoka Tano.

The fight was fucking powerful. It was shocking how short it was but it made so much sense to me. It was haunting and beautiful and emotional, all in like three moves. I love the growth of Obi-Wan. Given his history with Maul and his advances in the Force, it makes so much sense that he could dispatch him so quickly and easily. It was beautiful.

I watched the end like six times. The first time I watched it, I actually thought Maul said, "Is HE the chosen one?" Which I thought was a reference to Anakin. Which I thought meant that somehow Maul knew of the prophesy and also knew that Anakin had become Vader. So when he said, "He will avenge us," I thought he was trying to land one final punch; meaning that I thought Maul was warning Kenobi that Vader would avenge all the fallen Sith and enemies of the Jedi.

However, the third time I watched it, I realized Maul was saying, "Is IT the chosen one?" Which is obviously a reference to his own earlier line about Kenobi being there to watch SOMEONE. So that changed everything for me.

Now, I think the line was poetic. I think Maul was accepting his death and lining himself with Kenobi and all wronged Force users. Because Maul had been manipulated and taken advantage of and used, perhaps moreso than any other Sith of Jedi that we've met in the SW canon universe so far. It was an olive branch, not a threat and I swear to god, I got all tingly and almost cried.

Fucking SUPERB.

Also, I think I'm on your team here, Ruddo regarding Ezra. This episode was big in terms of his potential development. I don't think there's any way he goes dark now. I don't really expect him to die either. So... where does that leave us? "What happens to Ezra" has now become one of the most interesting and juicy questions in the Star Wars universe.

1. What has Luke been doing all these years?
2. What the fuck is up with Ahsoka Tano?
3. What happens to Ezra?
4. When do we get an R2/Chopper buddy-comedy stand-alone film?

I mean, we still need answers about all of them. And I'm actually invested and CARE about those answers. This final season of Rebels SHOULD be unparalleled. It should be the very definition of epic.

Personally, I do think Kanan dies. Again, I think it'll be a noble and very heroic and necessary death. While it is very possible that Hera and/or Chopper die at Scarif, I personally don't think they will/do. Maybe it's just "wishful thinking" but my gut feeling goes deeper than that. We don't know when the battle of Scarif will happen on the show but we keep hearing the powers that be talk about how much fun it would be to see that battle from the Ghosts point of view. So, my guess is it will happen near the end of S4 but I don't think it'll be the finale. I'm 100% possible Hera and Chopper survive.

Zeb is another story. I imagine they will kill off at least one more of our beloved characters. And since we don't see any of Zeb's species running around in anything after Rebels, I have a terrible feeling he'll die before the end of S4. Maybe at Scarif. While, heartbreaking, I won't be surprised if that happens.

I also think it's possible we'll see Rex go out, too. Maybe with Kanan or Zeb. Or maybe Rex goes instead of Zeb. But I think at least one of them is a done.

Sabine will survive, I think. There's still too much left to talk about with her and the Dark Saber and the Mandalorians.

If they kill Thrawn people are gonna be PISSED.

This is really good. I like this. If they're going to tie in Rebels characters to Rey's bloodline, I hope this is EXACTLY how they do it.
