Taj should have just let them fight. Everybody respects him so it didn't blow up.

James Harden: "I'm a hooper," Harden said. "I just want to hoop. I'll rest when I'm done. I feel like my teammates and organization need me to go out there and do what I do. I get obviously paid for it, but it's something I love. I enjoy the grind. I enjoy how hard it is. I think that makes you tougher. That makes you who you are."

Amen re: Harden and defense.
And let's be serious, when it comes to LeBron at this point all that matters is him being healthy for theplayoffs ECF and Finals. He's been coasting during the regular season for the last 3-4 seasons at this point.
Inb4 38 year old LeBron pulls a Roger Clemens and starts each season after the All-Star break.

And realistically, doesn't Harden get the last 3 weeks of the postseason off every year?

A lot of the excuse makers okay with rest reference the postseason like it is the only thing that matters. At the end of the day it is a business for 82 regular season games a year too and the product matters. Silver is going to clean this up somehow.

As well he should. But players like Harden really shouldn't be speaking out on it, given that the guys sitting do usually play quite a bit more games. And the fact is, it happens in other sports as well to an extent. The NBA it's just more visible because it's such a star driven league.

Finally some punches thrown, if not landed, in an NBA game again.

They both got in one good swing and just narrowly missed before they got pulled apart.
It still amazes me how successfully the NBA has legislated fights out of the league, though.

Yeah, the fines are steep enough and the buddy buddy nature or most of the players have virtually eliminated them.4/5 wrote:Probably a good rule to live by.Monkey_Driven wrote:I don't think I would mess with any seven footer.verb_to_trust wrote:He may be a giant nerd, but I wouldn't fuck with Robin.
