I do know that. But it's difficult when BOTH songs are clearly better than other songs that are going to advance. It hurts my insides, Ruddo.E.H. Re: Brain of J vs. Faithfull
I voted for Faithful because it's higher on my tiers. But I'm sure Brain of J will win only to lose to something like fucking Corduroy later.

Right, but eventually you will have to vote all songs out but one. So just look at it that way.durdencommatyler wrote:I do know that. Mike's comment at the 11:38-11:40 mark is so prescient and pretty much sums up everything the band has done in the last 20 years.evenslow wrote:Start at 6:10...

Re: Brain of J vs. Faithfull
i love the back and forth between Ed and Stone about adding the guitar strum to the end of the song (around the 22:20 mark), and Mike's smart ass comments. Then Stone: "What end? The end is like 30 minutes long"

Yeah that's a great moment. Ed sounds like Norm MacDonald there - "Oh, I'm sure I do."bodysnatcher wrote:i love the back and forth between Ed and Stone about adding the guitar strum to the end of the song (around the 22:20 mark), and Mike's smart ass comments. 94-98 must've been a great time for passive aggressive fights between Earnest Ed and Sarcastic Stone.

Re: Brain of J vs. Faithfull
with little Mike moments trying to ease the tension
Ed: "Try putting this at the end <strum>"
Stone: "The end? Where at the end?"
Ed: "After the last chorus"
Stone: "Do you know where he's talking about?"
Mike: "The end."

It's like a three-man "who's on first" routine.
