I only started voting for some of the songs in the album championship round, for what it's worth.

Re: March Madness 2017 - Winners Tournament
Technically I am a 2nd account, but only because I can no longer access my original account, and I've never voted more than once per matchup in any RMMM.
To be honest though, if someone cares enough about a song to actually register and vote as a 2nd account in a Pearl Jam song tournament in the backwaters of the internet, I suspect that that person may have some bigger issues going on that they should perhaps consider.
Enough of this fake news!
Let's make RMMM great again!

A gay friend recently bought a home, and it's been a constant stream of "homo-wner" jokes from everybody involved.

Re: March Madness 2017 - Winners Tournament
Is there a way to restrict access to the March Madness forum?
On some other forums I'm on, there are sometimes sub-forums that can't be accessed until you've hit a certain number of posts (10, 50, etc.)
That would surely almost entirely prevent result-fiddling by second accounts.

There must be some kind of way to identify who has voted. I know it would be time consuming but really all the time that Stip has put into this, it's a massively shitty thing to sabotage.

But we're also soliciting for votes outside the forum (stip posting at the pit, B posting about the tournament on the main blog). How can people come here and vote if they can't make an account and immediately access the forum?Birds in Hell wrote:Is there a way to restrict access to the March Madness forum?

Oh, that I didn't know - well, you can hardly then complain that people have made new accounts to vote!cutuphalfdead wrote:But we're also soliciting for votes outside the forum (stip posting at the pit, B posting about the tournament on the main blog).
