I think the Force of Nature 2nd account votes was just someone's idea of a cruel, unfunny joke. It never really had a chance of changing the outcome.

I can only speak for myself, but I don't always vote in every round, and I'm much more likely to vote if it could actually make the difference. I'm not saying that's what happened, but it could account for more votes in the close matchups.
