Last Exit

other than maybe last exit -> long road that 4th disc is masterfully done
Yeah, I liked that disc a lot but I agree that's an awkward transition. In my mind, Long Road might be a hidden track and come after some extended silence, which works a bit better because it feels like Last Exit is the end, which I have always liked the idea of ... and then Long Road is just kind of a coda.

It's too much! Two discs should be enough

This is delightful -- your vague adherence to original track placements gives this a very sturdy structural integrity, and your inclusion of several of my biggest underdog favorites endears it to my heart.

Thank you. It plays shockingly well, I think. I listened to it while walking around Greenpoint the other night and it felt fantastic. Lost of drive and nostalgia and a good representation of what Pearl Jam is/means to me. I think it would actually be a fair retrospective disc that I could give to a friend who wanted to get into the band and understand why I like them at the same time.

I know a lot of people hate it. But it's the only song that really fits what I was going for and fit Stip's assignment of including something from each record. Also, I personally just happen to love the song on its own. I think it's one of the stronger tracks on the last two records. But I had a feeling it would be the biggest sticking point for most here.
