So far we've only seen it happen with Luke in the films. Yoda talked to Qui-Gon in The Clone Wars but even that's something that I'm fuzzy on. Was it a real Force Ghost of Qui-Gon? We've been told he figured out how to live on as part of the Force but that he wasn't able to fully materialize like Obi-Wan and Yoda. Is that true? If so, then what Yoda saw wasn't a true Force Ghost. Ditto Anakin on Mortis. None of that stuff actually counts because Mortis IS the Force. It's a fucking "planet" made of the Force.
Just so many questions. But if only Light Side Force users are able to become Force ghosts, does that mean that only living Light Side users can interact with Force ghosts? And if so, where does that leave Kylo? He wants to be Dark Side but clearly has a lot of Light in him. Could Anakin even appear to him?
This movie is gonna be great!
Only one answer to that which is garnered from internet is that they haven't gone back to that weird place where the three live since then and as such it's probably being ignored
*unless*
It comes up again in the new films. How do you have luke explaining the force to Rey and launching a new academy (and general population) audience if they haven't seen these weird three episodes about going to meet god and his two main managers?
You can't.
So filoni has said he's wrapping things up from clone wars in Rebels. if they are? They'll either address this or ignore it totally.
I do think we might see a Bendu creature in skellig.
But already we have
Lost Jedi.
Weird rock creature knows the force
Birds that know the force (convorees)
Where's the line? Which is the best one to go with on screen? Cos it won't be all.
