Hope for something like the series from the 90s and 00s, with less time travel, and better episodes on average.

Is it too much to ask for a TNG-quality show? I'm really hoping this is halfway decent. To this day I never get tired of Capt Picard and crew....except for the last two movies...whew they were bad

That trailer has me far more excited than I expected to be. This has all the promise and potential in the world. I hope it delivers. I could use a good Trek show right now.
