Ghostbusters remake

Not nearly as bad as people made it out to be. Falls down a bit when it switches to action movie mode, but enjoyable.

Downloaded it and hoping to find time later to watch it.
I love this movie!
Care to expand on that? :haha:
High-brow comedy. Skewers academia. Awesome writing and performances all around. Sort of breezy and effortless -- really easy to enjoy.
i love that movie so much. It also has a beautiful photography.

Okay guys, I'm pretty fucking excited. So, you know how I adore David Lynch, how he's pretty much my favorite film maker of all time? Well, the only film of his that I haven't seen yet is Eraserhead. Weird, I know, but let's just move past that fact. I've been saving it. For god knows what reason, but I have been.

Turns out, I've been saving it for this Thursday night.

Guys, IFC is screening a new 4K restoration of Eraserhead and I just bought my fucking ticket. I get to see my favorite filmmaker's debut film for the first time on a big screen in 4K!!! I can't fucking handle this!

Fair enough.

Honestly, I don't care about any of that. I just really want to see this movie. And seeing it for the first time on a big screen with real sound technology is totally worth it to me. Regardless of all the other blah blah blah. I'm pretty fucking excited for this movie. 4K or otherwise.

Paterson.

As a huge Jarmusch fan, im not sure were i put this one in his filmography. It feels like a lost old film from him, its quiet and contemplative, its repetitive in its form and at the same time feels unstructured.

I liked it.

Really want to see this.
You should. Its a movie that needs your attention even if its not grandiose. Adam Driver is pretty good.

Ghost in the Shell had a lot of problems, but I respect the fact it wasn't generic Hollywood schlock. I feel like LV would like it.

I also watched about ten minutes of Kong. I'm giving it an F.
