If I pretend that the battle sequence was silly and rushed and implausible as hell, that was an alright episode.

Yeah I'm not really sure how a bunch of people that didn't really know each other teamed up in the middle of a gun fight and knew which people were savoirs and which were the good guys. The garbage people talking like they are Beyond Thunderdome is super dumb too. The tiger saved it though.

Also, I couldn't really understand what the garbage people and Negan agreed on. 10 or 12 what?

That was my guess. I'm surprised that wasn't brought up Talking Dead. The Argonaut wrote:It was unclear to me, too. Slaves, maybe?

I feel like that's intentionally not mentioned to be a point of discussion and eventual reveal.

Re: TV: The Walking Dead
Actually, it wouldn't be slaves, because it would be the other way around, right? They were helping Negan, and he was going to give them 12 of something, then they negotiated to 10. So guns, maybe?@SkitchP wrote:I feel like that's intentionally not mentioned to be a point of discussion and eventual reveal.

Re: TV: The Walking Dead
This was one of my big complaints - I said to Mrs Rangi at the time that it was annoying the crap out of me. Civilization didn't fall apart all that long ago and already they're talking like a bunch of retards. How did the Tiger know who to take out and who not to?bada wrote:The garbage people talking like they are Beyond Thunderdome is super dumb too.
The Sasha and Abraham stuff was pretty gay as was that monologue at the end.

Re: TV: The Walking Dead
I just re-checked the bit about ten/twelve.
Filthy Garbage Person: Deal is for 12, yes?
Negan: Ten. ____ are a resource.
FGP: Twelve.
......
FGP: Ten.
I think the blank is "people" but it could just be "they" or something. Hard to tell. I haven't consulted any outside sources or reviews, so the answer may already be out there and obvious. But she wanted more and Negan gave her less.
EDIT: YEAH HE DEFINITELY SAYS PEOPLE ARE A RESOURCE SO I THINK THE FILTHY GARBAGE PEOPLE WANTED SLAVES

Cause he was trained to know from his master. A nd its a show about zombies.E.H. Ruddock wrote:but how did it know who was a savior and who wasn't?
I loved this episode. Kind of felt like a good payoff for the past few weeks boring shit show. The Garbage Pal kids suck balls and i thought they may have turned against negan in the middle of comabt if Rick would have taken her up on the sex offer.
I cheered when the Tiger lept into battle.

Sasha went out like a fucking champ too. I was hoping Rick would jsut turn his gun on Eugene and blow him away right off the bat.
Also, my stomach dropped when the Garbage Pail kids turned on them.
