I don't disagree that it's in the discussion for best shot of the series. It is iconic and beautiful. It does capture the overall narrative without being too abrasive or overt.

But... it's not an image I think of when someone mentions Star Wars. I need to think about why that is.

I've seen these films countless times and I've never really made the connection between the two suns and Luke and Vader. God damn.

It's a beautiful scene, now made better. Total agreement with LV.

That Vader one is nice. I tried to find a close up of him after Han is frozen and all the steam comes up in his face. That's a really cool (and scary) shot. That and the close up of him during Leia's mind probe. Vadar as his most menacing, I love it.
