When you're logged in, you can tell by going to the matchup and see if there's an x next to one of the songs. If so, that's the one you voted for.Leatherhead wrote:I don't remember if I voted in "Hail Hail vs. In My Tree."

I'm not sure this is true for matches that are closed. Or I just can't see the X on my phone.EJ wrote:When you're logged in, you can tell by going to the matchup and see if there's an x next to one of the songs. No, its for closed matches too. The x will be to the right of the vote total. It must be your phone.Leatherhead wrote:I'm not sure this is true for matches that are closed. I see it on my PC now. Yea, I didn't vote. I think there's several matches I've missed. These rounds go so fast.EJ wrote:No, its for closed matches too. The x will be to the right of the vote total. Do we have any hard evidence that there is a serious problem with second accounts voting? Or is it just all the circumstantial shit that has multiple (more) plausible explanations than second account voting?

Re: March Madness 2017 - Last Exit Wins!
There may be fewer votes from people who didn't want to actually make a post (as opposed to clicking on a poll).
There are occasionally suspicious voting patterns (where as soon as one song pulls ahead the other song almost immediately get two votes. Both Ruddo and I observed that in one match in particular). But the inconsistent number of votes is the bigger tell, for me. A particular match will have a noticeably significant higher number of votes than another match. And yes, some people may occasionally forget a match, but there's no reason to think that wouldn't be spread out over all matches. And I have a hard time believing a significant number of people would take the time to go into a thread, click on poll results, and then choose to only vote in close matches (it also doesn't account for there being occasions with multiple close matches but only one match up with excessive voting

maybe people are going with incomplete ballots for a reason other than how close the match is?

Re: March Madness 2017 - Last Exit Wins!
Because I also feel like if people were making second accounts to vote, they would simply vote in all the matches so as not to arouse suspicion. Not just the close one they want to affect.

A lot of people that vote are idiots.
