It's a lot of fun. I'm going to try and enjoy it as much as possible whether or not I like the Hall in general or whether or not I get in tonight. I love Pearl Jam!

I know there is a heavy level of disappointment in the band here lately, but do people actually care they are getting inducted?
It really means nothing to me personally. Who fucking cares who inducts them? Just not important in my PJ fandom world.
I do hope they play their songs only, and pick ones you can nail.

I absolutely care, and I want the person who inducts them to give a good speech that really captures why they are an important part of music history, how they've been influential, and why they matter so much to so many.

I absolutely do not care. But I still want those same things, Stip.

Look, if I can manage to get into the ceremony, I'm gonna do it. I want to be there. I want to see history and see the performance live. Absolutely, I want those things. I want the induction speech to be entertaining and profound and well received, sure. But... none of it really matters to me. If I can't get it, if I can't see the ceremony, if Letterman blows the speech, none of it will matter or affect me. I'll still love Pearl Jam. The will still be important to me and millions of others. There place in rock history will be secure. The Hall of Fame is meaningless and kinda stupid. But I still want it to be fun and influential and all of the things you said above because I know it matters to some people. Maybe it even matters to the band.

I see where you guys are coming from. Tonight is the night and I am feeling proud to have been with them. I hope they bring it tonight and stay true to who they have been for 25 years. They are so much more than what the mainstream public knows about them.
