I think Pedroia has a shot but he needs to avoid injury for a few more productive, consecutive years.

took my family to the cubs/brewers game tonight. while i've been there before many times, i really like miller park. clean, spacious, and good site lines. Oh, and lots of Cubs fans.

It could be, a lot of Brewer fans are a bit soured by the roster turn over. All those casual fans they picked up from 07-12 no longer care.

Its amazing how close these two teams have remained record wise in head to head matchups though. I thought I heard the other night its still .500 at Miller Park.

notorious slow starters can be such a drag to a fantasy team. I had Carlos Lee one year, he hit .200 for April (he was notoriously slow out of the gates).


I don't miss Bernies Beer mug, nearly as much as the old P/A announcement about the "drunken two fisted slobber knocker" rude fan. Ive seen it played a few times at Miller Park during turn back the clock nights and it always gets a laugh.

I would love to see Miller Park someday. Dream scenario would be a Washington game at Wisconsin in September with the Brewers at home that weekend.
