Listening to the "Vs." reissue today -- what is the consensus on the mastering job on this? On the "Ten" reissue the dynamic range compression is clear as day, and I don't even have an ear for that. The "Vs." and "Vitalogy" ones sound more or less untampered with, just maybe a slight boost in baseline volume. Other opinions?

I didn't buy either (though I did pick up the promo CD which collects all of the bonus tracks) but I think the general consensus was that they sounded pretty good.

Thanks! Trying to determine whether the extra shelf space is worth parting with the originals. I indiscriminately ditched my original copy of "Ten" when the remaster came out and then bought it back like a year later the reissue sounded so bad.

Man, it was a BITCH trying to get MFS to work. The opening of that song makes transitions so awkward, especially when so many of these other songs end with fadeouts.
