I have a feeling this album is gonna be his Yeezus. It's gonna be easily his best work to date but it's gonna alienate a bunch of people, and be less acclaimed than his prior records.

I don't think he can top To Pimp a Butterfly, so I'm trying to do my best to not let my expectations get carried away. I'm just hoping for another great thematically cohesive album.

He gave an interview a few weeks ago that seemed to indicate this album will be a lot more spiritual in nature, suggesting that Butterfly was all about the problems, and that the new one is about the solution, namely God. I don't know exactly how that will play, but it should be interesting.

The Heart Part IV isn't on the record, so you can feel free to listen to that if you want. It was essentially him just declaring he's back and putting everybody on notice.
