His leg could break in half tomorrow, and he'd probably still get a good share of votes and it'd start to creep up after a few years on the ballot. But if he could get to 2000 hits and get a 5th GG, that'd be a nice resume.cutuphalfdead wrote:I think Pedroia has a shot but he needs to avoid injury for a few more productive, consecutive years.

Ugh. You used the terms "Mariners" and "playoffs" in the same post.Electromatic wrote:Bammer wrote:And he just went yard on a fucking laser.
Guy should bat cleanup.
What do you think of the Mariners this year? Think they'll make the playoffs?
Having been a fan of a Brewers team that started off 13-0, and were .500 by the end of April, and then topped that off by going 2 for March... I hear ya. Especially since that was the same year one Paul Molitor had a 39 game hitting streak, since hes your current coach.PHATJ wrote:I gotta celebrate before the bottom falls out... my Twins are 4-0 baby!
took my family to the cubs/brewers game tonight. while i've been there before many times, i really like miller park. clean, spacious, and good site lines. Oh, and lots of Cubs fans.MadTIGERmaN wrote:Having been a fan of a Brewers team that started off 13-0, and were .500 by the end of April, and then topped that off by going 2 for March... I hear ya. It could be, a lot of Brewer fans are a bit soured by the roster turn over. All those casual fans they picked up from 07-12 no longer care.spike wrote:this could be the greatest wrigley north season yetChris_H_2 wrote:took my family to the cubs/brewers game tonight. while i've been there before many times, i really like miller park. clean, spacious, and good site lines. I wish they'd bring back Bernie's beer mug already. So stupid.MadTIGERmaN wrote:It could be, a lot of Brewer fans are a bit soured by the roster turn over. Its amazing how close these two teams have remained record wise in head to head matchups though. I thought I heard the other night its still .500 at Miller Park.
I still miss County Stadiums bleachers come June/July/August though

notorious slow starters can be such a drag to a fantasy team. I had Carlos Lee one year, he hit .200 for April (he was notoriously slow out of the gates).cutuphalfdead wrote:April isn't his month.
