I'm using a Firefox extension that checks the page periodically (every 30 seconds for me) for changes and will play and alert when it happens. It saves the trouble of constant F5-ing.

No lie, this really kinda sucks. Ticket Sale days used to be a pain in the ass, but if you were persistent and worked hard you had a great chance of getting your tickets. This random chance bullshit sucks. If I knew I'd be sitting around powerless I would NOT have upgraded my analog membership 3 weeks ago. I honestly feel tricked, and as though it may have been wasted money.

I do wonder what F5 would be like now. It seems that the number of tickets the 10c can obtain decreases with every tour (which makes sense because TM tried to put in 10% max for fan club seats over 10 years ago).

That being said. I never missed out on F5.... you are right.. if you were stubborn, and spent the day hit refresh, have your cc number copies, so you could quickly paste it in and hit submit, you would usually get a 10-20 second window where the website function and you could get the order through...... Except the PJ20 Canadian tour.. that crashed the website.

You guys are idiots. Whether you find out now or later doesn't change whether you have them or not. The lottery doesn't change your odds of getting tickets from the old f5 system. This has no affect on the value of Ten club membership.

Yeah, but I think some people are mad that now someone who was never willing to spend all morning F5ing has the same chance at tickets as them. I don't agree with this line of thinking, but I would imagine it'll spill out in spades when people don't get the results they want.

I personally prefer this method. I used to sit and F5 all day long till I got tickets, and found it really nice to just fill out my entry and then check my email the afternoon of the drawing.

i truly believe this...the 10c picks who they want to win and not win...Not every ticket...But, some are hand picked to win and some are hand picked not win.

This whole lottery has been a joke. This could easily be processed by computer in about 15 minutes. And 10C was supposed to provide a pre-sale timeline on their website in real-time, and instead no timeline but random 10C members have had orders fulfilled while others have nothing. It's just another way to frustrate fan club members.

And they don't and it takes this long cos they're cross checking they're ticket requests with their naughty boy lists. Count on it.
