90's bootleg collections?

Not talking about the Pearl Jam official bootlegs, but the ones from the nineties. My first was The 5 Musketeers, then Ultra Rare Trax Vol 1 and New Songs. I also bought the Live In Atlanta- Dissident Singles Collection for the import price.



The goat in this picture always made me laugh. Especially when stoned.







Bootlegs are making a resurgence on Amazon and at the retail shops over the last year. I've seen some of the JWB Remasters for sale in FYE and Hastings, with different artwork. The Self Pollution Mix had nearly the same cover. Some alterations were made. I bought what I'm positive is the Soldier Field Matrix mix from wegotshit at FYE for $20. It had Dave A on the front of it. I use a site called mp3va.com and found the Australasian 2014 Big Nights Out mix 2 years ago. They're a cheap site with 20 cent tracks and 10 cent tracks when on sale, but a great collection of music and the site allows you to archive your music on site.

Just wondering if anyone else bought these or any of the others that were out back in the day.

I had (have) New Songs and Secret Gig, those are the first two that come to mind.

Man this takes me back to flipping through the racks at Tower or Silver Platters or whatever other music stores there were at the time, and scouring the $35 import Pearl Jam CD's just to find ONE more song that I didn't already have. It was like my drug.

Not that I bought them all, but I'd make mental notes of which had this song, which had that song, etc., then hunt for a CD that had 3 or 4.

The Mack Daddy Box Sets! I love the Down Under show. Magic happens when this band hits Australia! I grabbed that from gremmie.net a few years ago. Even printed off the artwork. Then JWB done the Remasters.

I had a few of these. NFM 1 and 2. And I remember paying like 35 bucks for Brixton 93. But I also got into tape trading pretty soon after getting into Pearl Jam so buying these never got out of hand for me.

I traded the orange Alive single for Soldier Field '95, Randall's Island '96, Seattle '98 and a couple of Bridge School shows back in the early 2000's. That thing pops up on Ebay from time to time.

I had 10-15 boots so I'll dig em out tomorrow and take a shot.

Also that Melboune 95 show. Mine was called "NW" i believe. Can't find a picture of it.


Pearl jam "Nonsense" was a compilation of rarities from their 95 tour that was a thing of beauty. My favorite version of their cover of I Got You was on it.

I ended up finding another bootleg with much better quality of that Doors performance. It also had some hodge podge stuff like Jeremy from MTV VMA, like 3 songs from the Euro tour, and another few from Unplugged.

Yeah, the Doors songs sucked on 5 Musketeers. Luckily, Ultra Rare Trax had the soundboard recordings. I was BIG into the Doors around this time as well.

I had the doors rehearsal bootleg once as well. Had all the rehearsals with Ed though I remember it wasn't that exciting for me at the time.

I love the NW part before Porch on that Down Under Bootleg. I bought a couple of RHCP Bootlegs from a Japanese company and they sell the movie. They've got some decent bootlegs there by a lot of bands.
