Is there any remotely legitimate defense for trotting out that lineup?

Tanking. But the Nets don't have their picks, so NO. The Heat deserved to get in...

It is what it is. The Heat have benefited from this resting fad, too. Couldn't quite overcome a horrendous first half of the season, losing Waiters, and especially that awful home loss against the Knicks a couple weeks ago.

The last two months were fun and I think Miami could have put a scare into Boston, but so it goes.

Now I root for the LeBrons and against the Western Conference All-Star team that's going to go no worse than 16-2.

Warriors in 4

Spurs in 5

Rockets in 6

Clippers in 6

Boston in 6

Cleveland in 5

Craptors in 7

Wiz in 7

No upsets although I could see the Bucks and Hawks upsetting the wannabe higher seeds in their matchups. Jazz had a nice season but aren't ready for this.

It is partly wishful thinking, but I think we are heading for a Clippers blowup.

They played decent down the stretch. They will lose in the second round and next year look a lot different.

The Jazz are pretty versatile, but untested in the playoffs. I think the series will go to 7.

They had trouble scoring in the regular season I just don't have faith the can get enough buckets once the defense cranks up. Gobert vs. Jordan in a long series will be fun though.

They were injured quite a bit during the regular season to get any sort of offensive continuity, but yeah, it is definitely their biggest flaw.

Phil Jackson said during his press conference Melo would be better off somewhere else chasing a title. It's Melos move now. I think a big part of him just wants to sit around in New York another year and play with his moobs.
