Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

They can't win anyways cos they have a finite amount of tickets and limited possibility of making it fair for everyone. Whole thing could be avoided if they jut went GA with the entire floor.
From memory, that was the approach they used for the 2011 Canadian shows and it seemed to work out fine.
Itd make life a lot easier for them for sure. Sounds like a good idea.
I've always wondered, are there bigger arenas in the US that PJ could play? Without hitting stadiums?

I suppose ampitheatres. Ampitheatres run the gamut from probably 15,000-45,000.dimejinky99 wrote:I've always wondered, are there bigger arenas in the US that PJ could play? Without hitting stadiums?

Like shoreline and the gorge, right?
No idea what the capacity was but I saw Pj in shoreline once and it was feckin huge but ideas awesome.
Couldn't wrap my head around the fact that the GA was at the back.
First time I ever saw that and of made no sense to me. It's the reverse everywhere in Europe. But I can see the logic now ($$$$$$$ for nice seats up front)

I find it amazing I now agree w/ almost everything you post re: Pearl Jam these days.cutuphalfdead wrote:You guys are idiots. Yeah. They've done a pretty decent amount of ampitheatres, especially in 98, 00, 03, 06, and 10. The problem is the range in quality between ampitheatres is immense. Some are quite lovely, some are absolutely horrendous. Major areans in the US at this point tend to be extremely similar in sound quality/sight lines.dimejinky99 wrote:Like shoreline and the gorge, right?

I only truly love a handful of bands but I'd happily pay that for that package with any of them. That sounds cool.commo wrote:I imagine this is the future for tenclub:

Yeah right, like Ed or Stone would ever do a meet and greet with fans, and Jeff is debatable.

Re: Fall 2013 North American Tour
i think the meet and greet and photo would last about 10 seconds, everything else but the ticket and open bar is fluff.
its not like they're gonna sit down and drink a beer with you, its more like: "nice to meet you", maybe shake hands, "stand here say cheese", gtfoh, next!
