I saw a brief theory speculating that maybe Yoda wasn't referring to Leia when he said, "No, there is another." People are speculating that they're going to retcon it to make it so he was talking about Ahsoka. This got me thinking about wease's story where Pablo said everyone on the story team was well aware of what Yoda said and they had no intention of making him a liar.
Could be really fucking cool if they play it that way. I'm guessing that's not gonna happen. But I think I really want it to.

It is very bizarre to think that while the OT is happening, Ahsoka is out there somewhere.
Unless Vader has found her and taken her out, which might yet happen in the last season of Rebels, it's a bit of a canonical retcon earthquake to suddenly have her show up in 8 or 9.
She can't be the 'other' Yoda spoke of really. But maybe..
I'd personally love to see her talking to Luke and telling him about Anakin as she knew him.
Put it somewhere maybe even before ROTJ
That would give an explanation as to why luke still believes his father is still in there and can be saved.

It's not bad at all! It's just you guys had even me jumping all aboard the ahsoka train so heavy that I was expecting... brilliance.
I'm actually not expecting anything major from the book. I'm just a giant fan of the character in general. So any new stories/info I can get about her, I'll take and I'll enjoy. My expectations are pretty middle of the road, really. I just want to consume all things Ahsoka.
