I have no idea where you got that image. But the one in the middle isn't "grey." It's the symbol for the Jedi order going back to the Old Republic. It's all over The Clone Wars. Obi-Wan wears it, for example. That's why I've been freaking out about it all over this thread.

Well I mean Michael Bay is better than Rian Johnson so it's not that surprising really

Ah. Sure. I getcha. I, obviously, disagree. But if you think that, then it makes a lot more sense to me.

What did you think of some of those images though? Were you moved at all by the look? Rey on the ground in the opening? Vader's smashed helmet? Those weird vehicles with the red stuff coming out? Were you excited by any of those images?

I don't think the trailer was very compelling visually. The red dust on the bright planet was kinda cool, but the color scheme was so similar to multiple recent videogames that it was robbed of some of its impact.

I actually wasn't blown away by the visuals either. However , that is what I loved about it. Felt very authentic and onsite which I love.

Oh, interesting. As someone who doesn't play videogames, that didn't register with me at all. I wonder if that kind of thing will factor into the larger audience that does play and likes Star Wars. Interesting.

I don't want visuals.

I want substance.

Everything and I mean everything wrong with modern cinema is big blockbuster action with no heart or feeling or agency. (Haha).

This needs and has substance. The flashier the action sequence the more tired and boring it is for anyone with even half a brain.

This film won't be about that. It's about story. And lore. Which may alienate people who like explosions but Fuck em. Watch transformers if that's your level.
