Well, I think that's why they made the movie, dime.
It's not actually. They made the movie to make a billion dollars.
Just hope they wrote a good story to earn it.
I meant that... never mind.
You fell for my LV impression. Cool. Give that same response next time he starts trolling.

This is a joke right?
It's too tied into the marketing for him to throw a misdirect a la JJ
And he seems too honest to say anything in that vein.

I was talking about Joey's post being a joke. We'd had that exact discussion days ago

KK also said this weekend that George only ever imagined it as 9 episodes. And they're exploring all that.
So maybe this is it

Right. But the discussion we had ended in everyone saying they thought it was confirmed that it was plural, whereas I kept insisting it was singular. I posted this as a way of telling everyone who thought it had been confirmed that it was plural that I was fucking right and it's CLEARLY singular.

The Skywalker Saga should be 9 episodes and that's it.
Whatever comes after -- episodic or otherwise -- should be different.

No jedi. No hero. No hokey religion or strange stuff.
No point.
Just a load of background extras walking around and pushed into starring roles.
They just made that movie. I hated it/was indifferent to it.

Star wars with the Skywalker saga has run its course. I'd be more turned off by more Skywalker stuff than I would a new story line

Well, that's certainly incorrect, because at one point, there were 12 episodes.
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

I think we'll get a new trilogy with these characters carrying forward, but with the skywalker legacy not at its core.

Bob Iger said there were 12 films coming at a shareholder conference
That same week KK said they're gonna pump the brakes and starve us of Star Wars films.
So no. It wasn't incorrect.

I'm talking about Lucas's original plan. Not Disney's. At one point, Lucas said it would be 12 films.

I appreciate what they're going for and I share in their disdain for what they're spoofing but holy wow that joke wore out within 5 minutes of their first episode
