If I had to rank the rumored Anthology films, I'd go:
1. Obi-Wan
2. Ahsoka
3. Fett/Bounty hunters
So, yeah, I'm with you, buddy. I want and Obi-Wan solo film (or trilogy) so badly. I still think we'll get it. It's just gonna be a while. We have to have patience. It sucks but I really do think we're going to get it. And if that means we get some awesome Obi-Wan stuff in 8 & 9 first... then, I'll all for it. I want as much Obi-Wan as I can get.

I absolutely think there will be an Obi-Wan film. I said as much. They did not announce anything this time around. But that doesn't mean anything. Like I said before, I think Obi-Wan still has a major part to play in this new trilogy and I fully expect an announcement of a new Obi-Wan film (possibly a trilogy) after Ep 9.
In looking for the info in that other thread, Joey, I did read that Lucas interview from '77 and he said one of the movies he really wanted to make was a young Obi-Wan movie.
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

A new trailer and a free (very kickass) poster that is now going for more than $500 on ebay. AND they got to see Hamill, Ford, Lucas, etc. They got a Carrie Fisher tribute AND John Williams. And a Rebels S4 trailer.
stip wrote:yeah that seems like a far cooler thing to be in the room for than a movie announcement that will have no footage or anything attached to it.
Absolutely. The only thing that would make it (potentially) cooler is if Ewan is there in person and does a fan Q&A. But otherwise, yeah. Trailer > announcement.

Anyone complaining about SWCO can suck a brick.
I dunno.
Would you be happy if you went to a convention and then had to que 18 hours plus to get into a panel and then not get in?
It's a rip off in a way. They oversold tickets.
Why Disney don't book venues with rooms big enough to accommodate everyone in attendance is a question that needs to be addressed.
Well, no I wouldn't be happy about any of that. Which is why I don't go to these things. It all ends up online anyway. But the people who went and got into the panels have nothing to complain about. The small rooms, the overbooking, etc, is a problem. I'll gladly empathize with those complaints. "I was at every panel I wanted to be at and I got a limited edition poster for free but they didn't announce the Kenobi movie until D23 so fuck Disney!" is not an argument I have much sympathy for or interest in, though.

That wasn't what we were talking about though. You had said that all those people deserved to get the Kenobi announcement too. I'm just saying they don't have to announce everything "new" at the celebration, they do enough of it there already. As far as the lines and admission at Celebration, that is an entirely different issue.
