By the way. The book mentioned above and How Star Wars conquered the universe are both essential reading.

If so, I heard it as stating that Rey is something else, the thing that comes after the Jedi.
Or maybe he himself has become more than Jedi.

Or maybe he's just wallowing in self pity since his Jedi Academy failed/ he failed as a teacher to Ben. There is great precedence in his being a whiner.

I think this is all tying back to what George intended with the prequels and explored more fully in The Clone Wars: the Jedi aren't as noble and good as they believe themselves to be. This new trilogy might connect some major dots and provide real closure. It might all come full circle. Christ this is exciting! I'm having a hard time articulating what I'm thinking/feeling about those images and that line.
That's kind of what I got from the Plagueis book too.

If they want to try to keep up with the Fast and the Furious franchise, they're gonna need that Disney money

Imagine what will happen if that Apple merger really comes through.

The George rumour is far less ridiculous than the apple rumour.

No, I'm familiar with the deal. I just don't know in what universe it sounds less plausible than Lucas getting the SW rights back after Ep 9.

So you can manipulate what frame shows on your youtube video, right? I'm convinced people take an image from a trailer, put a red circle around something, and make that the frame just so people click on it wondering, "wtf is odd about that?"

And the look on my son's face when we watched the trailer was awesome. I can't wait to see it opening weekend with him.

I do love the way LV has no grasp of Star Wars at all but makes out that he does and keeps dismissing anything he doesn't like. It's such a nice early internet throwback.

Latest rumor is Rian wanted to bring on Vin Diesel or The Rock for a little more punch on opening weekend but Disney execs weren't hearing it. Mistake? We'll see
