All joking aside, I actually think The Rock as Zeb in a standalone Death Wish style revenge film could be really great. Explaining the genocide of his people, leading to him exacting revenge on the members of the empire that did it. Joining forces with Hera and Kanan at the end?

Zeb isn't my favorite character by any means. But a film like what you're describing would go a long way toward making him one of my favorites. That could be an outstanding film. Wow. Yes. I'd be all in on that.

Thanks for posting that link wease. I've added it to iBooks and have skimmed though some of it. Really interesting stuff so far. I knew a few things but it's good to see those early ideas and just how different things were. I really wish Lucas would have stuck to some of those ideas. The idea of the "balance" and "the chosen one" and a virgin birth and making Anakin somewhat above human (like a Jesus) were all the wrong direction IMO.

No problem. I wish all Star Wars fans would read it. I'm on my fourth time reading it right now.

I would absolutely cast The Rock to play Zeb. In a heartbeat.

I think he'd also make a phenomenal "scoundrel." Whether a Han or Lando type or a more evil leaning bounty hunter type. He could pull of either of those really well. Like if Hondo ever had a kid. The Rock should play Hondo's bastard son.

Haha yeah the Rock as Zeb could work. Kind of like that wrestler that place that one dude in Guardians of the Galaxy pretty well.
