I wonder if there's a way to include Ahsoka in an Obi-Wan movie...

Re: Star Wars: Kenobi (2019)
The Kenobi movie could cover all 19 years that he's in hiding. I'm reading the Ahsoka book right now. I'm about 130 pages in. At this point in the story she thinks Obi-Wan is dead. But I wonder if that changes at any point. She could potentially meet up with him before the events of Rebels. Maybe as Fulcrum she discovers he's still alive and goes to him?Strat wrote:Depends on what their plans are with her during Rebels i suppose.durdencommatyler wrote:I wonder if there's a way to include Ahsoka in an Obi-Wan movie...
Maybe it would be too weird. I don't know. We'll see where she ends up after Rebels S4. But I think there's a way to do it that could be really fucking cool.

Have they stated where Rebels would end up in regards to Rogue One/ANH ?durdencommatyler wrote:The Kenobi movie could cover all 19 years that he's in hiding. I'm reading the Ahsoka book right now. Not officially, no. At least, not that I've seen. Everyone seems to think it will end right before the events of Rogue One or that a retelling of the battle of Scarif from the Ghost crew's pov will be the finale or something like that. But I haven't seen where they've officially commented on it.Strat wrote:Have they stated where Rebels would end up in regards to Rogue One/ANH ?durdencommatyler wrote:The Kenobi movie could cover all 19 years that he's in hiding. Re: Star Wars: Kenobi (2019)
Probably. But it doesn't have to. That could just be an easter egg. The series could end before the events of R1 and it would all still make sense. They could also keep going, I think. Depending on how they handle it. That's probably less likely. But I wouldn't be opposed to seeing Scarif four or five episodes before the series finale.Strat wrote:Hmm. They should just bring Ashoka back and have her destroy vader and the Empire in one awesome episode and thereby completely negating the last 40 years.

The fact that he's sorta emerging talent outta left field is what's making me think this is true.

Re: Star Wars: Kenobi (2019)
From the guy I know who works in the industry:
So, I guess, if you weren't excited for this thing yet, it's probably appropriate (though certainly not official) to get fucking pumped now.
And this from Fandom dot com:From my understanding, a Boba Fett movie isn't happening any time soon. It's more likely that, like Darth Vader in Rogue One, he'll appear in one or more of the standalone films but not get his own film. Now, that could change at any moment but that's what I recently heard.
Also, with the Episode IX script completed and shooting to begin this summer, Lucasfilm can finally circle back around to an Obi Wan film. KK didn't want to do an Obi Wan film until his story arc was fleshed out in 8 & 9, which kind of hints that his presence is lurking over the current trilogy.
Supposedly, there will be announcements this summer about the future of Star Wars in the cinema but they have their hands full with Episode 8, which is in Post, IX, which begins soon and shooting the Han movie, plus the story group is working on the next animated series.
http://fandom.wikia.com/articles/ewan-m ... nge-disneyIt’s no secret that Ewan McGregor was one of the actors Marvel eyed for Doctor Strange, before ultimately awarding Benedict Cumberbatch the title role. Now, a source who was close to the situation at the time tells FANDOM that he would’ve played the Sorcerer Supreme, had it not been for interference from higher-ups at Disney. Why would Disney veto bringing McGregor into the Marvel Cinematic Universe? The answer should please Star Wars fans.
“Marvel wanted Ewan for the role,” our source says. “But they were told they couldn’t cast him because Disney needed him for Star Wars.”
So, I guess, if you weren't excited for this thing yet, it's probably appropriate (though certainly not official) to get fucking pumped now.
