So yes, I did end up winning Philly 2 reserved.

I'm quite surprised that 10C tickets weren't exhausted after 1st, 2nd and 3rd preferences were all distributed. I wonder if that means they secured a pretty huge allocation there.

I have no idea how any of it works. Just happy to get tickets to the show I wanted the most

yes it is an outrage. I don't expect to not get tickets to the majority of the shows that I want to go to by being a fan club member for 20 years.

So I'm feeling relieved, but still not loving the lottery. My PJ buddy got the exact same thing, so new mission is finding another member with 2 pairs of night two seats looking to swap for night one.

I went 1 for 7 this time. 2 for 8 overall. I still like this system better. I didn't have to take a day off of work to try for tickets. I want to goto Baltimore so I'll try through Ticketmaster. Upper deck isn't the end of the world. It will make me appreciate the 10C seats more in the future.

My only bitterness lies with Hotels.com 2 nights in Pitt - $150 in taxes and fees. Free Cancelation = $209 charge. Fuck them. Never again.

Everyone was super persistent under the f5 system and plenty got shut out. The same amount will get shut out here too.

Except that with f5 the last four tours I could get tickets to both (or even all 4!) Philly shows. I had zero chance of that this time, as the lottery only allows for 1 set per city. So we're definitely getting less for more money.

Isn't it more fair to limit the amount of shows you can go to if that means less people end up going to 0 shows?

I guess I just can't picture that happening because between myself, 10 club, Gen Sales and ONE friend I share seats with, I've never had to miss a show.

Were you guaranteed tickets then or was the fan club just small enough to accommodate all the members that wanted tickets to a show? I don't think they've ever had access to 100% of the tickets in a venue.

I'm still waiting on my results but Philly 2 Reserved was my #1 option. So I have to imagine that if you won it as your 4th option, my chances might be okay.
