I was shooting for 2:22 and finished at 2:15.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Been having some weird foot pain so haven't been able to run at all for over three months. Went to the doctor, got some inserts, let's see how this works.

Possibly the best run of my life tonight. I was in another place. A runners high is pretty dope.

Re: The Running Thread
So I figured out my route is like 6km. I ran it in like 32 minutes today. For me this was my best run of the year yet. I was sober, and I made it the furthest without a break. No pain after either. I feel like I am on another level this year. I know this is not super impressive to some of the hardcore dudes here, but I am feeling great.

Re: The Running Thread
I had two personal best days in a row but not today. Although I experimented with my pace at the beginning but luck was against me. The wind wore me down but more than anything a bit of chain smoking caught up with me. The shame. Nonetheless, it was a good 6km but I was not in the zone.

Getting close 8-minute miles. That's good by most standards, dude.Dev wrote:So I figured out my route is like 6km. I ran it in like 32 minutes today. For me this was my best run of the year yet. That'll put you in the top quarter at most 5 and 10Ks.

6km in 32 minutes again. I can live with it but I really wanted to get it down to 29 minutes.

I don't believe you and believe I could take you in a race. Actually time yourself next time.verb_to_trust wrote:7:10 is a normal mile pace for me at that distance.Dev wrote:We need to know your times.verb_to_trust wrote:6 miles in after work. 4th day in a row. Decent week going.
