Wild Tales (Relatos salvajes).

Argentine movie short films. Only on the 3rd so I don't know if it'll be stitched together somehow

Jorge, I just watched Hidden Figures and I'm super curious as to why you thought it was so great.

Relatos Salvajes. It was OK.
Wagner & Me. Very cool. Loved Fry's enthusiasm for the music, even if he was incorrect on a few accounts (like suggesting Wagner invented diminished sevenths).
Good Ol' Freda. Liked it a lot.
Julie & Julia. Felt shlocky and dishonest, even though I really liked the leads.
A Fantastic Fear of Everything. Hated every second.
Meat. Every bit as weird as I remember it being. Twice as fun now that I know where it goes.
The Pig Forgot to Wipe. Sublime.
Hook. What the fuck, this movie is awful.
Bam.

You are being very defensive for someone who supposedly thinks they aren't being racist

I'm not at all being racist and I don't think I'm being defensive.

How is assuming a guy who watches a shit-tonne of films and lives in BA might have seen a popular Argentine film racist?

Free Fire.

It was stupid. Hammer and Copley are entertaining though.

We went to see Fist Fight at the cheap theater and it was one of the best comedies I've seen in years! Charlie Day and Ice Cube w/ Tracy Morgan = Comedic Gold. Will buy this one when it comes out.

Cool. We've also got the Batman movie. If it's still there next week, we're planning on seeing it. I overheard the staff telling another customer that they found out their movie schedules on Tuesdays. I enjoyed Rogue One. It was pretty entertaining and ties into the overall story nicely. I haven't laughed as hard as I did during FF at a movie in a while. The supporting cast played really well off one another and the jokes were good. There was also some good physical comedy in it. Dean Norris showed up in it as well.
