Your number plays no role in whether you get tickets or not.

It matters not what your number is, in regards to your chances winning tickets.

Re: Fall 2013 North American Tour
Won Hartford GA and Worcester GA, my 1st & 2nd choices. Assumed that would not happen, hence my choices to hedge my bets, guess I'm seeing them twice in 10 days!
Kinda surprised, actually.

We are now processing orders for Leg #2. Due to the number of tickets we were able to acquire for these shows, it will take several hours to complete the charges and send he notices to Leg #2 entrants, so your patience is appreciated.

Worcester GA with 2nd preference?
That should, all things working as promised, mean that everyone who put Worcester GA as their 1st will have gotten tickets.

Re: Fall 2013 North American Tour
This system seemed pretty flawed from the get-go to me. And since it seems Leg 2 results are JUST NOW starting to trickle in (I haven't heard if I'm in luck yet), maybe it's been pretty flawed on their end too, and this will be the only time we have to deal with this.
I concede that the ticketing system for Fan Club members will never be perfect. Someone is always going to get shut out, or not get the best seats, etc. And the system never really has been perfect. Does anybody remember needing to CALL IN to a single number to get tickets to the '95 tour?
If they would do something so their systems wouldn't crash on sale dates, I would have no problem with the "seniority rules" rules.. I was getting progressively closer. Or just doing the tickets in a random distribution.... but they HAVE to work on their server capabilities.
As for now... fingers crossed that we all get the news soon.

Seniority has never increased your chances of obtaining tickets, even under the old system. This new system is no different in that regard.ilpazzo wrote:If they would do something so their systems wouldn't crash on sale dates, I would have no problem with the "seniority rules" rules.

Re: Fall 2013 North American Tour
Worcester GA with 2nd preference, correct. So I would assume that's what that means as well. I thought Hartford was a crap-shoot, and figured Worcester was rare chance for 2nd; I flipped and flopped on the order for both, but figured Worcester as 2nd was remotely more likely than Hartford. Still doesn't seem right though...Birds in Hell wrote:Worcester GA with 2nd preference?

Re: Fall 2013 North American Tour
Chances of obtaining tickets, no. I was referring more to senior members getting 'better' tickets, which in my wacky way of thinking always thought was fair... and I didn't join the 10C til 2000.Birds in Hell wrote:Seniority has never increased your chances of obtaining tickets, even under the old system. Re: Fall 2013 North American Tour
But does seniority play a factor in determining the location of your seats? I always thought it had in the past, but I wonder if it will now for reserved seats this tour.Birds in Hell wrote:Seniority has never increased your chances of obtaining tickets, even under the old system. bwhahahahhahahahahha
this fan club is so fucking stupid
why should someone get 2 hot shows (say LA and NYC) while 2 other people (one in LA and one in NYC) got shut out for both?
