It was at the 2009 Flight to Mars show, and Mike came out and did an acoustic solo pre-set. I was lucky enough to be right in front of Mike. It was almost like he was singing to me.

Mike played it before Toronto 2009 too, I think? The show where Ted Leo and the Pharmacists were meant to support but got held up getting over the border or whatever and so the guys in Pearl Jam played a few solo things to fill the time.

One of my fondest live Pearl Jam memories. Not so much Mike's songs, but Ed's set was really great and the song Stone did was amazing.

the guy does shit his pants uncontrollably...

maybe he felt one coming during the shoot; and rather than fighting it he just said 'fuck it' and really forced it out hard to just go with it

I got Danny Clinch´s book Still Moving, is a huge beautiful one with a lot of great pics of a lot of bands...the PJ pics are pretty cool.
