I'm not a Leafs fan, but nice try (that being said, as a Vancouver fan, I wish they were in as good a shape as the Leafs are going forward)...but even so, somehow the Leafs taking the Capitals to 6 games with what, 4 or 5 of those going to OT is something for their fans to be bummed about? Sorry, but their performance against Washington is much more impressive than Ottawa beating a Bruins team who literally were on their 9th or 10th dman who still had to shoot themselves in the foot repeatedly for your team to even win the series

But then again, maybe you're as delusional as that Ottawa writer who said Erik Karlsson is a better hockey player than Bobby Orr was...

Your team will be lucky to last five games against the Rangers, and honestly, if you do, you should consider that a moral victory...

I'm winning my pools because I was the only one to pick Nashville to beat Chicago (I have Nashville in the finals vs. Washington). Anaheim is the only team in the West that can take them out, IMO.

Erik Karlsson is a monster, but Guy Boucher hockey is unwatchable. It's effective but my god, it's so boring. The Rangers aren't exactly a fun team to watch either so not sure how much of that series I'll watch.

This playoff system is so messed up that Washington and Pittsburgh, the top two teams, have to play each other now. The Rangers had more points than Ottawa but don't get home ice advantage.

Leafs had a good run. It'll be interesting to see how that team develops. Lots of talent but development isn't always linear and teams start to figure out players, so it's up to them to adjust. I've seen it with MacKinnon here in colorado. Luckily they have easily the best coach in the league.

i do not think niskanen had an intent to cross check him in the head but you do have to be in control. i think ovi's slew foot is what sent crosby off balance like that

and for trotz to say niskanens hit is just a hockey play and then turn around and say kunitz hit on oshie was intent to injure is laugable
