If it wasn't for voter fraud, I'd have won the popular vote by like, 5 votes.

New teams!

evenslow:

Songs I Already Know: The Waiting (good), Learning to Fly (very good), Insider (okay), Free Fallin' (very good)

New Songs: "Free Girl Now" is really good. Probably could have been played a litte faster and produced with a bit more energy in the sound (especially the drums), but this is a nice song. "Hometown Blues" is a mildly Strat-y choice, but it's not terrible.

Overall: Good

VOTE FOR: doug, but this was very close. "American Girl" is just a monster, though.

---

LetMeSleep:

Songs I Already Know: I Won't Back Down (very good)

New Songs: "Honey Bee" is fun; I remember seeing parts of the SNL performance with Dave Grohl, which makes this version sound really tame. Like "Free Girl Now", I think the production holds this back a bit. But, still, a good song. I dig "Shadow of a Doubt". Oh man, LOVE "Grew Up Fast"! Way better than any of the other STO songs I've heard in this draft so far. Damn, this song is so good! :bammer: Ooh, I love "Fooled Again" too! Petty sounds pissed off. "Flirting with Time" is average. The drums sound distractingly bad.

Overall: Good

VOTE FOR: LMS and it's not even remotely close.

---

bada:

Songs I Already Know: Refugee (very good), I Need to Know (very good)

New Songs: Seems kinda weird that "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" was allowed to be drafted, no? This is definitely a Stevie Nicks song. But whatever. I don't feel very strongly about this song in any way. Hey, "It'll All Work Out" is great! Love the soundscape created through the instrumentation, and it's paired beautifully with the melody. "I Should Have Known It" is decent, but pretty generic blues rock. "U Get Me High" is...fine.

Overall: Good

VOTE FOR: Ruddo

Doug beat me. Even if I didn't think his team was slightly better, I'd still vote for him. If I'm gonna lose, I wanna lose to a champion, goddamnit.
Spoiler: show
But seriously, I tallied the numbers. Doug got a 26 and you got a 23. Sorry, my friend. It was close. But Doug's team is a monster.
There's no shame in losing to him.
