hot and humid, low 90's.

They need to be careful, esp. with people being willing to give up their spots in the front of the GA section should a storm roll in. I was at the TFC in 1998 when some got hit on the field inside RFK stadium from a lighting bolt that arc'd in from several miles away and they had to cancel the rest of that day's show.

Any lightning delays or evacuations would totally screw them because of (1) the curfew, and (2) the fact that they can't re-schedule the next night.

What's the curfew? 10? 10:30pm? I guess I'll pack a poncho just in case.

That would be the earliest end to any PJ show I have been to. So if they start at 7:30 sharp, that is really just on the long side of a normal length show.

I don't know, that's still a three-hour show. That's pretty long. I suspect they'll go over curfew anyway.

Chicago noise ordinance kicks in at 11:00PM. Most shows at Wrigley go to 10:45 - 11PM.

Trading cards? And a 48 pack box option for $240? Oh my.

I'm not really impressed with any of the gear besides the Mind Your Manners shirt, although there have been very few post-Vitalogy Pearl Jam shirts I thought were cool. I was hoping there'd be a pin set though like there was in 2003 & 2006. The 2003 pins are some of my favorites ever (and some of the most durable I've ever owned). Looks like I'll be able to save some money by not being tempted to buy any of this, which is actually pretty alright by me.

I'm sure everything here will sell like hotcakes though.

Big shitstorm about it. All these people paid extra for the 10c package with early access to merch and turns out they're opening the merch stands to the public a day early.
And four posters? $240 trading cards? $65 for a tshirt?

Are US PJ fans really affluent? Is this why they only play the big coastal populations?
I'd usually go to bat for them but this?
I'm flummoxed.
