I have no expectations or preconceived notions about where they should or shouldnt go. They can do whatever they want as long as it is well told.

Yeah that's just well stupid. It sounds awful and way too heavy handed. I'm sure they could pull it off but I hope they don't go that direction.

I just realised something this morning.

The last Jedi is going to more than likely leave us either with a huge cliff hanger or a death that impacts the story or a huge reveal info wise. Or all three.

I don't think I'm ready for a year and a half of heartache tearing my hair out wondering what it is

Exactly. Star Wars and echoes though.

Rian has said there are some similarities in storybeats to empire. I doubt this will be the chosen one angle redux.

Which makes me think it will be.
