Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Here's another question: which ones of these would you actually want to watch? My answer is kind of: meh? I guess anything but Robert's Rebellion? Since I wasn't a book reader before I watched the series, when I started with Season 1 everything was new to me, and one of the things that hooked me on the show was figuring out who each character was, where their loyalties lied, what role they had to play in the story. Robert's Rebellion has been so well covered in the books and--at least to some extent--in the show that I feel like it wouldn't be as exciting, since it'd have a very "prequel-y" feel of, "Oh, here's Robert," "Here's Ned," "Here's Tywin," and on into infinity with every other character, and of course you'd know how it all ends. If you adapted something like the Dance of the Dragons (and to a similar extent, Aegon's conquest), I'm sure even book readers would be intrigued with the twists and turns the story would take, and the rich lives of new characters that popped up on screen. I haven't read Dunk and Egg, so can't really speak to that.

And with that all said, I'm sure the network will push for Robert's Rebellion.

But ST has a point. The lamest parts of the show are the "oh look it's Tuco" moments. Plus, a lot of the Mike/Gus/Salamanca backstory can be a little boring because we know where those characters end up/have heard a lot of their backstory already. ST is right. Robert's Rebellion has been covered pretty extensively in the show, and I imagine we'll see even more actual flashbacks to that time period this season (as we learn more about Jon Snow's origin and Danaerys's claim to the throne, etc.)
