(Just to finish off!)

I think you mislabelled the disc 20 tracklist as disc 19 btw. Looks like it is probably within the text file.

Seriously - thanks again to all involved for this set. Amazing stuff.

<Edit> What a disgraceful bottom paging! Hang on a second, I'll fix my own shit here...

Bugger! Thanks for the pickup, will put a little fixing on it

There may also soon be an update to the Radio Edits disc - I've recently been provided with a rare edit of Morning Bell (without the Idioteque outro).

Thank you guys so much for the massive undertaking that this was. I crave this sort of thing from all of my favorite bands, and usually it ends up with me scouring the internet, finding tracks in inferior quality and skipping over a bunch of things. So having something like this is a real treat indeed. Your work does not go unappreciated (or unlistened to!) (or un-displayed!).

ridleybradout wrote: It certainly was a helleva dig to find all these sources! As I mentioned in the first post, rhtrack.com was a great resource that I stumbled upon while researching this, and thankfully the webmaster was kind enough to share some of the more obscure stuff he had. With CD singles gone and less rare material being released, the sets are kind of a 'ful stop*' on the glorious CD era of my youth.

*I do of course plan to do updates should more rare stuff get released ;)
I haven't downloaded these discs yet (I'm not a massive Radiohead fan, to be fair, although I did buy the first 3 "collectors editions" which came out a few years ago and saw them on the Amnesiac tour).
But is there room on disc 2 for the 3 unreleased tracks from the upcoming OKNOTOK release? I guess not?

As a hardcore fan I'm sure you're delighted to get 3 'new' tracks but is it not annoying now trying to find space for these 3 songs on your own comps? ;-)

It does drive me a little crazy, but I prefer to let it stand as a snapshot of the band right before they took over the rights to their catalog. Brad probably has different ideas though...it's really up to him how to expand and update the set.

And, of course, this could be just the first of the bands' 'official' re-issues. The Bends 25th anniversary in 2020?

I'm tempted to do a similar collection for Therapy?, a band I'm into, but old unreleased stuff being released would drive me nuts. Which is, of course, ridiculous when you think about it! :-D

I do intend to keep this set updated, and yes it is frustrating that the new tracks won't fit on the existing 1997-2004 Non-Album Tracks disc. Too many new previously unreleased tracks is a nice problem to have though :)

Given most people listen digitally these days where CD length is not an issue, I think I'll just expand that disc, which will bring it to around 84 minutes. It's not that difficult to get burnable 90min CD-Rs for those who still want a physical copy

I've actually just updated and expanded the Radio Edits and Remixes discs (both are now double-discs) for those downloading the whole thing. Some minor updates to Disc 11,15,17 also (no new tracks, just fixing typos etc).

Great work, kudos to both of you. I can certainly identify with your attention to detail.

I just had a look at the press blurb again and there's mention of a C90 cassette of "OK Computer session archives and demos" in the box, so I guess there'll be new material there too.
Maybe a disc 21 with a title that reflects the bands' ownership of their catalogue?

Anyway, as I'm a sucker for box-sets (in particular, for the dvds) I'm gonna check out the "collectors editions" of Kid A, Amnesiac and Hail to the Thief. I actually don't even have the regular albums so it seems like a good time as any.
As for this new release of OK Computer, I might just go with the vinyl.

Btw, was not aware of 90 minute CDR's! Wouldn't they be prone to skipping though? I remember reading somewhere that record companies can't gaurantee that their discs won't skip after 80 minutes which is why 80 minutes became the industry norm.

Sorry if I have missed something it the thread, but how can I get a copy of this?

Is it available as a bit torrent, or a series of downloads somewhere?

I managed to get a copy of 'Towering Above The Rest' but it was only as 192kbps, which I didn't think was worth bothering with.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Many thanks.

By way of thanks I have made a few covers for Radiohead recordings, and also a very few Pearl Jam ones, plus lots of other bands which are free to download on my website.

Thank you again for sharing this compilation.

Oh, I have a doubt about the first tracks of Demos and Alternate Versions (I Can't, Million Dollar Question & Inside My Head): What's the source of these? I know the insert says "EMI/Parlophone Acetate Cassettes", but I searched the web and I couldn't find any info about 'em! Discogs have nothing, for example. I'd like to know more about them and/or the dates when the tracks were recorded, if that's possible. Thanks again !
