I really like the guitar solos on S/T they were refreshing. This one is kind of hard, Force of Nature is one of the best off Backspacer.

Live maybe this would change, but studio version I gotta go with Force of Nature. I really like the ending.

Severed Hand is actually one of Mike's solos I like the least, and given the way the song builds to it I am left feeling disappointed.


I love how empowering the FoN solo is. It's a favorite.

Force of Nature had me close to cutting up my fan club card. The tone, the pedestrian, formulaic, blahness of it all.

SH wins, not just because of it being up against a weaker opponent, I really dig Mike on top of all that noise the band is making. It hasn't gotten old to me after 11 years.
